Dr. Woo Jin Kim holds both a Ph.D. in Molecular Genetics and a D.D.S. in Dental Medicine from Seoul National University. Additionally, he is a certified Attorney at Patent Law. With his diverse professional background, Dr. Kim is passionate about engaging in both dental medicine and molecular genetics research.
Since 2020, Dr. Kim has been serving as a Research Assistant Professor at the School of Dentistry at Seoul National University. In 2022, he joined Harvard Medical School and Brigham and Women's Hospital as a Postdoctoral Associate. His previous experiences include working as a Postdoctoral Associate at the School of Dentistry at Seoul National University and as an Attorney at Patent Law at the R&DB Foundation at SNU.
His research interests include the epigenetic regulation of skeletomuscular tissue, protein delivery systems, the genetic regulation of osteogenic differentiation through chromatin conformational changes, and genetic diseases of the skeletal system such as cleidocranial dysplasia and craniosynostosis. Dr. Kim is committed to advancing our understanding of these topics and contributing to the development of innovative treatments and technologies in the field.
